Just me again. I haven't been to my space since April. Hadn't realized it was so long. You are the first.... maybe only one.... I'll visit this trip. Life is weighing heavy on me now....... another year older, no real friends to talk with, truly nothing to say if I did....lol!!! Aint that the just like life!!

Hi, I saw that you answered my message. I don't actually live on Rich Mountain but my grandparents did. My grandmother died there in the old schoolhouse many years ago.I grew up on Clarkes Creek , the road that leads to Rich Mountain. ..... my door is always open to my friends...... and it's quicker than building a house .....!! It is quite pretty up here on the edge of this great inland sea during autumn, I have lived here almost a year now and am still in awe of the beaty and splendor all around me.

Thanks for trying the song link..... the link-site I chose doesn't have enough "free" download time to make it worth while. basically, after 3 downloads I am out of time for 24 hours. Bottom line is that I am going to have to spend some money to get more time. Sooooo..... I will let you know when I have fixed the problem.

Autumn becomes very beautiful up here on Lake Erie. As the sun makes a shorter arc across the sky it seems to give off more gold than yellow. Everything becomes a little more hazy and dusty. The Queen Ann's Lace have turned brown and have been replaced by the golden blooms of Goldenrod. The Canadian Geese are congregating, once more, out on the sanctuary on Presque Isle talking over their upcoming trip to ports in the south. Even the waters of the lake seem a bit more restless in their crashing against my shore.

You are welcome to come up and visit. I have a spare room and the whole of Pennsylvania at your beck and call!!

You're right, Lakota. There are some parts of the panhandle that are stunningly beautiful, in a wild way. I am thinking more in terms of beaches, which are quite different in that part of the Gulf, than they are in the rest of the world. I can do without the mosquitoes though!
